Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and driven Electrical Foreman to manage our team on Multi-Family projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical construction management, particularly in supervising multi-family residential projects from start to finish. This position presents a unique opportunity to lead a team of professionals, manage project timelines and budgets, and guarantee the successful provision of high-quality electrical services.

Compensation:
The starting hourly wage for this role is $25.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates with a Journeyman license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead electrical teams on Multi-Family residential construction projects, ensuring that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, builders, and other stakeholders to establish project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
  • Organize and schedule daily tasks, assign responsibilities to team members, and track progress to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, identify potential issues or safety hazards, and implement necessary corrective measures.
  • Guide and mentor electrical apprentices and journeyman electricians, providing support and feedback to promote their professional growth.
  • Manage project documentation, including permits, drawings, change orders, and material requisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors, to provide updates, address concerns, and foster positive relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations relevant to Multi-Family residential projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical plans.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
