Position Summary:
We are in search of a skilled and proactive Electrical Foreman to manage our teams on Multi-Family construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in electrical construction management, specifically in leading multi-family residential projects from start to finish. This position presents a valuable opportunity to guide a team of professionals, manage project schedules and budgets, and guarantee the successful execution of high-quality electrical services.

Compensation:
The starting hourly wage for this role is $25.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates with a Journeyman license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct electrical teams on Multi-Family residential construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
  • Organize and schedule daily operations, delegate tasks to team members, and track progress to meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, identify potential issues or safety risks, and implement necessary corrective measures.
  • Provide mentorship and training to electrical apprentices and journeyman electricians, fostering their professional growth.
  • Manage project documentation, including permits, drawings, change orders, and material requisitions, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors, to provide updates and address any concerns.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations relevant to Multi-Family residential projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical plans.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
