Reporting Structure:

This role reports directly to the Product Marketing Manager.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and execute the marketing strategies, positioning, and go-to-market plans for our low voltage molded case circuit breakers product lines.

You will take ownership of the product portfolio, overseeing all marketing and business development initiatives within the U.S.

Your role will also involve leading the communication and messaging of our product value propositions, ensuring alignment with ABB's global marketing strategy, and coordinating with various functional areas to meet the expected KPIs for the designated product lines.


Accountabilities Include:
  • Creating, planning, and ensuring the effective execution of the U.S. go-to-market strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and positioning.
  • Overseeing sales execution for assigned products by coordinating the preparation of relevant materials and providing guidance to sales teams.
  • Collaborating with Global Product Managers to ensure local market acceptance and drive the development of new products and features based on market needs and trends.
  • Managing the product portfolio, including pricing strategies, inventory management, KPI reporting, local market offerings, product gap analysis, business cases, sales and promotional tools, internal and external training, and maintaining a strong technical presence.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales, Product Management, or Product Marketing Management within a related electrical products or applications industry is essential.

This position requires 25-30% travel.

Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the U.S.
