This role reports to the Product Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and execute the marketing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market approach for our low voltage molded case circuit breakers product lines.
You will take ownership of the product portfolio, overseeing all marketing and business development initiatives in the U.S.
Your role will also involve leading the communication and messaging of our product value propositions, ensuring alignment with ABB's global marketing strategy, and coordinating with other business functions to meet the expected KPIs for the product lines.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement the U.S. go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and positioning.
- Manage sales execution for assigned products by coordinating the preparation of relevant materials and providing guidance to sales teams.
- Collaborate with Global Product Managers to ensure local product market acceptance and drive new product and feature development based on market needs and trends.
- Oversee product portfolio management, including pricing strategy, inventory management, KPI reporting, local market offerings, product gap analysis, and business case development.
- Facilitate internal and external training and maintain a strong technical presence.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales, Product Management, or Product Marketing Management within the electrical products/application industry is essential.
This position may require 25-30% travel.
Candidates must possess work authorization to be employed by ABB in the U.S.
