The Product Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in meeting the business team's objectives while adhering to budgetary constraints, thereby significantly contributing to the overall success of the organization and the realization of its financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate, develop, and execute the marketing strategy, providing a comprehensive three-year plan and strategic guidance to establish marketing and innovation initiatives that address immediate, medium, and long-term opportunities in the DIY Lawn and Garden sector.
- Evaluate product and market performance within designated segments across priority channels, with the capability to construct business cases for entry into new channels.
- Collaborate with the Communications and Sales teams to define, create, and implement advertising and promotional initiatives as part of the overarching marketing strategy.
- Conduct research and utilize consumer insights to comprehend motivations, challenges, and advantages that enhance the relevance and modernity of the designated product lines.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch groundbreaking, innovative products that possess distinct unique selling propositions.
- Gain in-depth customer insights and understanding of the business through customer visits, store interactions, and consumer engagement to foster a meaningful connection with the target consumers in your product portfolio.
- Oversee the product portfolio through Portfolio Analysis and provide recommendations on Life Cycle Management (LCM), Portfolio Consolidation, Rationalization, and Optimization to maximize overall profitability and growth potential.
- Work closely with Commercial Operations, Regional Sales, and National Account Teams to ensure alignment between Portfolio & Brand Strategies, Marketing Plans, and Commercial and Channel Strategies, supporting sales initiatives.
- Manage the budget and expenses associated with this role and assist in the annual budgeting process, along with other global or local projects.
- Prepare to mentor Associate Product Managers as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing and product management.
- Extensive analytical experience in launching successful new products and managing the product portfolio through LCM, portfolio analysis, and rationalization/optimization.
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to foster positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Robust financial acumen coupled with a solid commercial understanding.
- Excellent verbal, written, and networking communication skills to effectively inform and influence sales and product management teams.
- Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic setting.
