Product Marketing Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will have the chance to execute product marketing strategies aligned with the global product strategy in your designated area to achieve business goals. Daily, you will carry out marketing initiatives and assist the Sales team in promoting sales and services for the relevant products. You will also demonstrate your expertise by enhancing sales efficiency through the provision of relevant product knowledge and training. The work model for this role is Hybrid. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Leading and managing the commercialization efforts for upcoming product launches and segment marketing for MV Switchgear, MV Motor Control Centers, and Load Interrupter Switch (LIS).
• Implementing the product marketing strategy within the assigned area/segment, which includes defining and communicating product value propositions and positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
• Meeting product marketing targets and budgets by regularly monitoring progress and developing improvement plans as necessary.
• Concentrating on achieving orders and driving continuous enhancement in the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Executing the annual marketing plan in collaboration with relevant divisions and/or product groups, and developing business plans aimed at fostering business development for a specific market; documenting, launching, and maintaining Product Value Proposition and Positioning Documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field, along with a minimum of 10 years of technical or application experience in MV switchgear.
  • Adherence to ABB’s safety and business ethics policies.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% (domestic).
  • Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
