In the role of Product Marketing Specialist within the Electrification and Smart Buildings division in the United States, you will be tasked with executing product marketing strategies that align with our global product objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Creating and implementing the go-to-market strategy for our low voltage molded case circuit breakers product lines, ensuring effective communication of product value propositions and positioning.
  2. Monitoring and achieving product marketing targets and budgets through regular assessments and the development of growth plans.
  3. Collaborating with customer experience and communication teams to formulate annual marketing plans.
  4. Preparing business development plans focused on the low voltage distribution and protection market.
  5. Coordinating sales execution by providing relevant materials and guidance to sales teams.
  6. Enhancing sales efficiency by ensuring that sales teams possess the necessary product and application knowledge.
  7. Facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration across functional and divisional teams to define accurate forecasts and inventory strategies.
  8. Gathering and analyzing customer research, market conditions, and competitive data, focusing on industrial users, contractors, and distributors.
  9. Working with Global Product Managers to ensure local market acceptance of products and drive new product development based on market trends.
  10. Leading commercialization efforts for various programs, including product launches and segment marketing initiatives.
  11. Managing product portfolio aspects such as pricing strategy, inventory management, KPI reporting, and training initiatives.

Your qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Product Management, or Product Marketing Management within the electrical products industry.
  • Proven experience in portfolio management and marketing.
  • Strong customer experience track record.
  • Understanding of power distribution and electrical control systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel 25-30% of the time.
  • Valid work authorization to be employed by ABB in the United States.
