Role Summary:

This role is pivotal in the new product development of hybrid and electric off-road machinery. The successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of parametric and multiphysics models for inverters and electrical machines utilized in Virtual Vehicle Simulations.
  • Develop models for Model-Based Design of Electrification Control Algorithms.
  • Utilize high-fidelity models to generate surrogate models.
  • Design and implement test plans for model development, correlating with test data.
  • Conduct drive cycle simulations to determine design constraints.
  • Virtually validate system requirements.
  • Analyze dynamic performance, stability, and system losses.
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Enhance and manage libraries, models, and projects.
  • Develop advanced modeling and simulation tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, with a focus on Power Electronics preferred.
  • Experience as an individual contributor in a relevant field, either professionally or academically.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Simscape (mandatory).
  • Understanding of Model-Based Software Development.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Systems, Power Electronics, semiconductors, Electrical Machines, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with LTSPICE simulation is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
