Role Summary:
This role is pivotal in the new product development of hybrid and electric off-road machinery. The successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of parametric and multiphysics models for inverters and electrical machines utilized in Virtual Vehicle Simulations.
- Develop models for Model-Based Design of Electrification Control Algorithms.
- Utilize high-fidelity models to generate surrogate models.
- Design and implement test plans for model development, correlating with test data.
- Conduct drive cycle simulations to determine design constraints.
- Virtually validate system requirements.
- Analyze dynamic performance, stability, and system losses.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain thorough documentation.
- Enhance and manage libraries, models, and projects.
- Develop advanced modeling and simulation tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, with a focus on Power Electronics preferred.
- Experience as an individual contributor in a relevant field, either professionally or academically.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Simscape (mandatory).
- Understanding of Model-Based Software Development.
- Knowledge of Electrical Systems, Power Electronics, semiconductors, Electrical Machines, and control systems.
- Familiarity with LTSPICE simulation is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
