Position: Administrative Assistant

Location: Washington, DC (Northeast)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (30-minute lunch break)

Note: Candidates must be able to adhere to the specified schedule to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Administrative Assistant will support the Executive Assistant to the President with various tasks, including creating and managing Excel spreadsheets.
  • They will handle requests from the owner and the Executive Project Coordinator.
  • The role includes providing backup support for the front desk operations.
  • They will be responsible for processing incoming mail, including scanning and distributing it to the appropriate recipients, following training on proper mail handling procedures.
  • The Administrative Assistant will also assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by Project Managers.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of professional administrative experience is required, with an understanding of organizational hierarchy.
  • Proficiency in Word for basic documentation tasks.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in Excel are necessary; advanced functions are not required.
  • Familiarity with Outlook for email and calendar management is essential.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A degree is preferred but not essential if relevant work experience is present.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus but not required.
