The Workforce Staffing team is a dedicated, customer-centric group responsible for the recruitment of entry-level positions in our warehouses and fulfillment centers.
We are in search of talented, motivated individuals to contribute to the future of Amazon's workforce.As a Recruitment Coordinator, your role will involve organizing and executing activities that support our high-volume hiring initiatives across designated regions.
In our dynamic environment, Recruitment Coordinators are often the first point of contact for candidates, playing a crucial role in ensuring a positive recruitment experience and preparing new hires for their first day.
Successful candidates will exhibit a strong customer focus, demonstrating the ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks while ensuring a seamless onboarding process for candidates.
Recruitment Coordinators will work flexible hours, which may include evenings and weekends, depending on business requirements. Overtime may also be necessary to meet operational needs.Ideal candidates will be approachable, proactive problem solvers with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
Our team operates on varied schedules and may require travel to multiple locations based on business demands. We are committed to hard work, collaboration, and innovation.Key Responsibilities:
1. Organize, execute, and conclude recruitment events based on staffing forecasts.
2. Assist candidates throughout the hiring process, including application assistance, document verification, and other related tasks.
3. Consult with applicants to identify the best fit for their skills and available positions.
4. Utilize the Applicant Tracking System to manage candidate progress and leverage various technologies.
5. Conduct post-event evaluations and address any discrepancies.
6. Adhere to critical timelines for background checks, drug testing, and compliance with documentation requirements.
7. Ensure flawless execution of high-volume hiring processes in accordance with established procedures.
8. Collaborate with Coordinators to perform routine audits and analyze performance metrics.
9. Engage in candidate outreach activities by participating in community events and job fairs.
10. Address candidate concerns by identifying and eliminating obstacles.
11. Participate in projects as assigned by management.
12. Maintain confidentiality regarding candidates' personal information and sensitive matters.
13. Travel as necessary to conduct events in various locations within your assigned area, with local travel requirements up to 75%.
14. Manage supplies and transport materials to and from recruitment and community events.
Recruitment Coordinators will work flexible hours, which may include evenings and weekends, depending on business requirements. Overtime may also be necessary to meet operational needs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
6+ months of experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, such as operations, administrative support, customer service, retail, hospitality, staffing, recruiting, or human resources.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn various other platforms.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
1+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, such as operations, administrative support, customer service, retail, hospitality, staffing, recruiting, or human resources.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables, v-lookups, and mail merges.
Experience in auditing reports and analyzing data.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems or similar tracking and reporting tools.
Strong problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting issues and driving them to resolution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding customer service abilities with a focus on tact and confidentiality.
Willingness to present to large groups.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude with a sense of urgency, complemented by a friendly and diplomatic demeanor.
Bi-lingual skills are a plus.
