US General Medicines Forecasting Manager

This role supports the US General Medicines Forecasting team to establish and maintain accurate and insight-driven pipeline and in-line demand forecasts. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various stakeholders at the US and global level to drive forecasting excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, document, and maintain US Forecasts for priority pipeline assets from Phase 2 onward, including launch planning support.
  • Establish, document, and maintain in-line products financial and manufacturing volume forecasts and annually revise Long-Range Forecast, in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Evaluate US market trends, competitor product landscape, and competitive positioning as part of US Forecast development.
  • Develop, document, and present US Forecast, assumptions, opportunities, and risks, to multiple management levels.
  • Collaborate and partner effectively with various stakeholders across the enterprise, including Marketing, Commercial Insight, and Managed Market teams, to support senior management requests.
Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in Analytics, Statistics, Business/Economics, Biology/Chemistry, Finance, or related area.
  • 5+ years of experience in analyzing market data and trends, assessing financial/commercial impacts, and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Experience with MS Excel, working with substantial amounts of data, financial, and/or analytical data modeling involving multiple inputs.
  • Experience with MS PowerPoint.
  • 3+ years of experience in U.S. Pharma commercial areas.
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing and maintaining financial, analytics, or gross sales forecast models.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in Business (MBA), in Science (M.Sc) (incl. Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, or in Finance/Economics (M. Econ.) or related.
  • Experience providing clear and concise messaging to multiple management levels.
  • Experience with patient claims data and patient flow modeling.
  • Pipeline forecasting experience.
  • Patient Model forecasting experience is a plus.
  • Strong learning agility to build business acumen.
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
