Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth: Discover, nurture, and finalize opportunities within Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), insurance providers, and healthcare systems.
  • Data Oversight: Manage the provision of data sets to data repositories, ensuring precision and effectiveness in data handling.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Promote teamwork among clinical operations, finance, contracting, business development, actuarial, and other pertinent stakeholders.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Guarantee that all parties are aligned with the same information to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Team Development: Enhance the productivity of the data science team without increasing personnel, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Contracting Expertise: Apply knowledge in risk-based contracting to effectively position solutions in the marketplace.
  • Closing Deals: Exhibit a proven history of successfully finalizing agreements with health plans, ACOs, and other healthcare organizations.
  • Support for Decision-Making: Lead the creation and execution of decision support tools to provide stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • Expertise in Value-Based Care: Utilize a background in value-based care to customize solutions that meet the changing demands of the healthcare environment.
  • Data-Centric Methodology: Advocate for a data-centric approach to problem-solving and decision-making within the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

Essential Experience and Credentials:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in business development, account management, or similar roles within the healthcare field.
  • Network: Extensive connections with payers, ACOs, and risk-bearing providers.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in data management, analytical tools, and decision support systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-oriented mindset; experience in selling data/analytics-focused solutions.
  • Flexibility: Capacity to excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment, adjusting to changing market trends and business requirements.

Compensation: $150k-$175k, Health Insurance
