Finding a role that aligns with your lifestyle can be challenging. At MyKelly, we are here to assist you. We are currently looking for a part-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our esteemed client.

Compensation:
$23-$28 per hour.

Work Schedule:
Part-time hours from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, two days a week, with flexibility on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your daily tasks will include:
  • Managing accounts and processing incoming payments in accordance with financial policies.
  • Recording customer payments through cash, check, and credit card transactions.
  • Conducting daily financial operations, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and documenting accounts receivable data.
  • Investigating account discrepancies by gathering information from various departments to resolve billing issues.
  • Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate payment postings.
  • Addressing authorized deductions by entering necessary adjustments.
  • Following procedures to resolve unauthorized deductions.
  • Setting up new customer accounts and assessing credit data to establish payment terms.
  • Reviewing customer payment plans and histories to manage collections effectively.
  • Maintaining invoice accounts to summarize receivables.
  • Safeguarding the organization’s information by ensuring confidentiality.
  • Contributing to the accounting mission by completing related tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Preparing ad hoc reports as required.

  • Have a solid grasp of fundamental accounting principles and collection regulations.
  • Exhibit a high level of accuracy and meticulousness.
  • Possess strong customer service abilities and negotiation skills.
  • Are capable of calculating and managing financial figures.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting (preferred).
