Position Overview

NP Mechanical Rice Services Inc. is seeking a meticulous and experienced General Ledger Clerk to manage financial transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Full-time position, Monday through Friday

The General Ledger Clerk will oversee the billing processes for various projects, ensuring compliance with established procedures. Responsibilities include managing contract billing for different project types and handling any necessary adjustments or supplemental billing.

Reports to: Controller

Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and print daily billing reports to track scheduled transactions.
  • Submit invoices in accordance with client specifications and deadlines.
  • Conduct onboarding for new projects and familiarize them with billing protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs of pending invoices and follow up on outstanding receipts.
  • Process automated payments and ensure timely billing of scheduled items.
  • Assist in resolving any billing disputes with clients.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable.
  • Familiarity with AIA billing practices is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of contracts and billing requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
