Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, register them into the computer, and provide accurate and timely information and services.
  • Communication: Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Payment and Accounting: Accept payment for guests' accounts, maintain a house bank, and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily.
  • Security and Safety: Issue keys to and control entrance of safety deposit boxes, post miscellaneous charges as requested, and follow all applicable Company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Promptly respond to and resolve guest complaints in a fair and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience with hotel management systems and processes, preferably with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, basic computational ability, and basic computer skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length, lift up to 15 lbs occasionally, and perform other physical demands as required.
