Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Buffalo Marriott LECOM HARBORCENTER. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling guest complaints, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all guests.
  • Handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures, maintaining a high level of integrity and security.
  • Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel, providing valuable insights and information.
  • Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the team and contributing to the success of the hotel.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers, ensuring understanding and satisfaction.
  • Computer experience preferred, with proficiency in hotel software and systems.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, with knowledge of local activities and attractions.
