Job Summary

The District Sales Manager is a key field leader responsible for driving strategic product sell-through, delivering key business results, and hiring and developing store associates within a given geographic area. This role ensures that store operational principles are followed and that each store provides exceptional customer service by offering expertise on Lids' products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the district's hiring strategy, including planning, recruitment, and talent development.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive product sell-through and achieve business results.
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure operational excellence and provide coaching and feedback to store associates.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors and other stakeholders to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage and direct in-store team members to ensure optimal customer service and sales performance.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in business or a related field and one year of relevant experience, or two years of relevant experience with a related degree.
  • Proven ability to produce sales results and minimize loss.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to operate a computer and maneuver relative software programs.

  • Ability to work varying days and hours, based on business needs, and maintain an excellent attendance record.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, certificate of auto insurance coverage, and the ability to drive an automobile.
  • Extensive travel (up to 90%) in a given geographic area, with driving required for up to 100% of the daily work schedule.
