Job Summary

As a District Sales Manager at Inova Health System, you will oversee a team of Territory Managers in the sales of our products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to direct and motivate your team to achieve profitable sales and case growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage a team of Territory Managers to achieve sales and case growth objectives
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate existing accounts and acquire new ones
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Territory Managers to enhance their sales skills and knowledge
  • Research and develop lists of potential customers and make targeted sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads
  • Conduct periodic Customer Business Reviews to identify customer needs and relationship gaps
  • Oversee the communication and execution of Company policies within the sales department
  • Ensure the sales organization is appropriately staffed and managed to minimize turnover
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of foodservice sales experience
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license
Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation for this role is between $85,100 and $113,400 USD Annual. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus. Benefits include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
