Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the banquet and set-up areas.
  • Manage staffing levels through effective hiring and training practices.
  • Act as a liaison between various departments to ensure client specifications are met.
  • Maintain payroll records and process time information for staff.
  • Schedule staff according to business volume and guest requirements.
  • Ensure banquet spaces are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Implement themes and concepts for special events in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Monitor service quality and timeliness during events.
  • Conduct regular inspections of banquet areas for cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of necessary supplies.
  • Perform monthly inventory checks and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years in a managerial or supervisory role within the banquet sector.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid Driver's License.


Physical Requirements:
The role requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, and the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds. Vision capabilities include close, distance, and color vision, as well as depth perception.

The position involves working in both indoor and outdoor environments, occasionally exposed to varying temperatures and noise levels.
