Regional Sales Manager

EBSCO Information Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling EBSCO Information Services products to academic institutions, corporate libraries, and medical libraries in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all product lines and categories, including Full Text Databases on EBSCOhost and Software as a Service Solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve established sales growth and renewal quotas.
- Work closely with the VP of Sales, Director of ACM Sales, and Account Executive to achieve sales goals.
- Provide formal pricing proposals, literature, and coordinate trials as needed.
- Prepare and deliver presentations driven by the solution sales process.
- Travel 70% of the time, including in-person meetings with customers and prospects, attendance of conferences and sales meetings.
- Achieve an expert level of knowledge of EBSCO products and competition.
- Provide input from the market for product development and marketing purposes.
- Develop sales strategy for the region and report weekly progress towards sales quota and goals.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a strong track record of success in the academic field. The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of sales experience selling in the academic field.
- Experience with SaaS and Information Service sales a plus.
- Previous travel experience and ability to travel 70%.
- Must live within the territory: Salt Lake City, UT (and surrounding area) or Greater Phoenix, AZ (and surrounding area).
- Must have proven communication, follow-up, and sales skills.
