About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at the Kraft Heinz Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Direct and supervise a team of maintenance personnel to ensure that all systems operate at their highest capability to meet required production schedules, quality, costs, and schedule priorities.
  • Maintenance Planning and Execution: Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures that are cost-effective and increase the operational life of equipment. Coordinate, arrange, and supervise the completion of corrective and preventive maintenance in accordance with company operating procedures, practices, and financial considerations.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Direct workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic, and utility systems maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. Direct workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure that equipment and facility are maintained in a safe, operable condition and/or arrange for replacement/upgrades. Assist with safety training, monthly safety meetings, and provide technical support for all safety projects.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze production downtime reports, determine opportunities, and initiate action plans to increase efficiencies. Participate in the QRMP yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with outside agencies, including contractors, equipment suppliers, technical consultants, and vendors. Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager, other Maintenance Supervisors, other Team Members, and Human Resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Must be familiar with maintenance management system operations.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining TPM Systems is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems, including ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems, is a plus.
  • Understanding of direct and overhead cost systems.
  • Experience using, troubleshooting, and programming Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include days, afternoons, midnights, and weekend work.
