Overview

The Ladders is seeking a Head of Marketing Growth Strategies to lead our initiatives in both paid and organic media across all channels focused on customer retention and acquisition. This role will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will collaborate closely with various teams including merchandising, e-commerce, product development, and retail operations. The ideal candidate will adopt a test-and-learn methodology to enhance brand visibility, attract new customers, and strengthen our existing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement organic social media strategies to boost engagement, follower growth, and brand recognition.
  • Oversee the customer journey from initial visit to purchase, leveraging experience across diverse marketing channels.
  • Manage substantial marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation to meet key performance indicators.
  • Understand how brands cultivate awareness, achieve efficient customer acquisition, and assess performance in the digital landscape.
  • Utilize analytics and testing methodologies (e.g., A/B testing, incrementality tests) and employ business intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau, and Google Analytics.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development within the organization.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling content and communicate results for ongoing enhancement.
  • Stay updated on the evolving media landscape, identifying trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Manage the marketing budget with a focus on identifying reinvestment opportunities in successful initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a data-driven approach, justifying expenditures and success metrics to the executive team.
  • Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for high-end retail and customer engagement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in acquisition and retention marketing across various platforms including Google, Bing, Meta, TikTok, and email.
  • In-depth knowledge of paid media platforms and their content requirements.
  • Exceptional budget management skills with a keen eye for identifying reinvestment opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a comprehensive understanding of funnel data and success metrics.
  • Proven project management capabilities.
  • Ability to execute detailed tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in luxury retail and consumer brands is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive self-starter with creative ideas and solutions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude towards all tasks.
  • Experience managing at least one direct report.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Microsoft Office Suite.
