Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Take ownership of the creative domain, establishing and upholding high standards for the team and deliverables. You will hold ultimate accountability for the creative results across our ecommerce division.
  • Creative Direction: Define the creative vision and trajectory for essential projects. Establish guidelines for creative excellence and provide final approval for critical initiatives, in line with organizational objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition: Design and implement effective processes for sourcing, onboarding, training, and offboarding that your creative team leaders can utilize for managing their personnel.
  • Team Development: Oversee the internal development of our in-house creative unit and curate a network of external creative partners, fostering a team that upholds high standards of quality and efficiency while adhering to budgetary goals.
  • Process Improvement: Create and manage the workflows utilized by the creative division, ensuring their relevance and effectiveness as the team evolves.
  • Financial Oversight: Establish and manage project budgets, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure optimal resource allocation across various projects.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for collaboration among department heads, managing the escalation process and ensuring transparent communication across teams. Develop processes for how design team members interact with product managers for clear and effective communication.
  • Operational Management: Guarantee transparency regarding team capacity, SLAs, and backlogs to facilitate efficient project management and prioritization.
  • Project Prioritization: Determine project priorities and establish criteria for project acceptance, along with the necessary resource allocation.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Amazon merchandising, showcasing a robust understanding of visual merchandising strategies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity within an agency environment, managing creative teams of 5 or more members.
  • Proven expertise in managing personnel and processes, with a strong history of maintaining team standards and effectively leading teams.
  • Exceptional multitasking and prioritization abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English with a strong sense of design and creative strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience in balancing creative talent and budgets to allocate resources effectively for projects.
