Key Responsibilities

The Head of Commercial Leasing Operations will collaborate closely with the in-house Commercial Leasing team, acting as landlord representatives to effectively lease and promote the company's office spaces.

  • Identify and engage potential tenants seeking office space through robust relationships with commercial brokers and proactive outreach initiatives targeting tenant principals.
  • Manage and convert incoming sales leads, inquiries, and RFP requests into in-person tours and advanced sales opportunities, maintaining a strategic follow-up process to secure signed leases.
  • Provide prospective tenants and their brokers with an exceptional in-person tour experience that highlights the unique value of our available spaces and the advantages of our locations.
  • Prepare proposals and RFP responses promptly for new leases, renewals, assignments, relocations, and expansions, collaborating with in-house counsel and the commercial leasing team during negotiations.
  • Attend industry events to represent our portfolio and enhance awareness of our available spaces among potential tenants and their representatives.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing dynamics in relevant submarkets, maintaining an updated dataset of market comparisons and recent transactions to inform pricing and leasing strategies.
  • Work in conjunction with property management and construction teams to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of tenant buildouts in accordance with lease agreements.

Qualifications

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial leasing, either at a brokerage firm or in-house for a property owner.
  • Proven track record in sales, showcasing and marketing available spaces while managing a business development pipeline.
  • Experience in negotiating commercial leases, either as a lead or supporting role, representing landlords or tenants.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for the commercial real estate sector.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills for engaging with external parties in transactional contexts.
  • A strong commitment to managing broker and tenant relationships with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Sound commercial instincts and the ability to assess transaction details strategically.
