Empowering Excellence in Patient Care
Hospital for Special Surgery seeks a highly skilled Risk Management Director to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for our patients.
- Leadership in Risk Management: Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate potential liabilities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Investigations and Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations into adverse events, identifying root causes and developing recommendations for improvement.
- Education and Training: Provide risk management education and training to hospital staff, promoting a culture of safety and awareness.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with healthcare providers, senior management, and front-line staff to ensure effective risk management practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Advanced Degree: RN, PA, or similar clinical degree.
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience in hospital risk management, quality, or a similar leadership role.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to present to large and small groups, with excellent writing skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
