Job Title: Senior Director, Enterprise Risk Management
Job Summary:
Major League Soccer is seeking a highly skilled Senior Director, Enterprise Risk Management to lead the identification, measurement, and management of company-wide risk. This individual will be responsible for managing insurance procurement, developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures, and managing claims covered under the League's insurance program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage Insurance Programs: Develop, procure, and administer comprehensive League-wide insurance programs, including casualty, property, and financial lines.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct functional and integrated risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and manage enterprise risks.
- Litigation and Claims Management: Track and manage athlete Workers' Compensation programs, establish League-wide claims management processes, and manage outside counsel on insurable claims.
- Policy Development: Provide a framework for managing and governing risk and control activities, and advise on insurance and indemnification provisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in risk management, claims management, and insurance.
- Strong analytical skills, superior organization, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Total Rewards:
Major League Soccer offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including a competitive salary range of $145,000-$185,000, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, a generous PTO offering, and a hybrid Office/Remote Work Schedule.
