The Area Director of Reservations Sales is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and optimizing reservations efforts at three of our San Diego area properties: San Diego Mission Bay Resort, L' Auberge Del Mar, and Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with sales, revenue management, and reservations sales teams to develop and execute revenue-producing strategies.
- Analyze call volume reports to optimize staffing and maximize peak call volume.
- Develop and implement action plans to increase conversion rates and optimize revenue generation.
- Manage data input and report generation for daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Administer the NAVIS platform and monitor sales calls for central and property sales associates.
- Create and implement incentive programs with specific ROI targets.
- Meet deadlines and coach reservations sales associates on daily operations.
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, and training within the department.
- Recommend and implement processes for team member retention and professional development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, or a relevant field.
- Two years of reservations experience.
- In-depth understanding of tools, spreadsheets, and statistical methods for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and ability to use PMS and reservation systems.
