Position Summary:
We are currently offering a sign-on bonus for new hires in the Medical Office Specialist role.

The Healthcare Office Coordinator I plays a vital role in supporting Cardiology Physicians within an outpatient environment. This position involves general front desk responsibilities along with Medical Assistant duties as needed, ensuring smooth operations at various locations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of growth and development principles relevant to the patient demographics served, and will apply this knowledge to deliver personalized care to each patient.

All employees are expected to uphold the mission and objectives of Mercy Medical Center, particularly in providing patients with accessible, high-quality care and services.


Qualifications:

Educational Background and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office environment is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in computer applications and technical skills, including:
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Must be capable of working independently and making sound decisions when necessary.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with colleagues, patients, physicians, and the public.

Flexibility, integrity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members are crucial.

Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
