Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations, the Healthcare Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing and facilitating the daily functions of specialty practices with lower patient volumes that do not necessitate a dedicated practice manager.

This role involves close collaboration with the Senior Director to establish objectives and implement strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
The Healthcare Operations Coordinator will oversee various operational aspects, including:
1. Staffing management
2. Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) oversight
3. Front office administration and patient flow coordination

In addition, the Coordinator supervises administrative support personnel and medical assistants, serving as a vital resource for both physicians and mid-level practitioners. Continuous evaluation of current practice operations is essential to promote improvements in quality, efficiency, innovation, patient satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.

The Coordinator is also tasked with preparing reports and analyzing practice performance data for the Senior Director, acting as a super user for Epic and providing training on all practice management systems.



Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred or a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a healthcare practice setting.

Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in computer applications and technical skills, including:
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
- Meditech (if applicable)
- Epic (if applicable)
- Performance Manager/NetLearning

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is essential. The candidate must demonstrate independence in decision-making when necessary and possess strong interpersonal skills to interact tactfully with staff, patients, and the public.

Flexibility, integrity, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are crucial. The candidate should also be capable of following both written and verbal instructions.



Additional Requirements:
The ability to type accurately at a minimum speed of 40 words per minute is required.
