Position Overview:
Join the dynamic team at Great American Insurance Group as a Financial Analyst/Accounting Specialist. This role is essential in supporting our Financial Division and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Financial Analyst/Accounting Specialist, you will:
  • Compile, consolidate, and analyze financial data to produce accurate statements, schedules, and reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of complex financial documents.
  • Maintain standardized accounting reports on a daily basis.
  • Review and evaluate existing procedures for potential improvements.
  • Reconcile journal entries and adjust accounting classifications as necessary.
  • Coordinate accounting matters with various departments and external stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
