ProBio specializes in comprehensive CDMO services, facilitating the journey from drug discovery to market launch. We employ strategic approaches and professional solutions in cell and gene therapy, vaccine development, biologics discovery, and antibody protein drugs, ensuring accelerated drug development for our clients. Our expertise in cell and gene therapy encompasses the complete CMC process for plasmids and viral vectors, supporting clinical and commercial manufacturing.

Position Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated and experienced production manager to oversee preclinical-grade mRNA production and manage workflow scheduling. This role demands exceptional leadership skills, a high level of expertise, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to establish and uphold production and quality control schedules, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Guide the team in refining production workflows and enhancing processes to boost delivery capabilities and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and address root causes of production issues to enhance overall quality and stability.
  • Provide operational leadership to the production team, focusing on training, coaching, and the development of team members.
  • Maintain accurate records and forecasts related to the production budget on a monthly basis.
  • Engage with prospective and current customers regarding project statuses and opportunities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to advance mRNA production capabilities.
  • Ensure proper documentation of training and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Synthetic Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
  • Proficient in HPLC purification techniques and equipment maintenance.
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in the biotechnology production field is essential.
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration on interdisciplinary projects.
  • Strong time management skills with a commitment to task completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-driven and enthusiastic, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
