About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Lead Product Manager to join our Microsoft Business Applications Platform team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our infrastructure platform, driving key product initiatives, and delivering a globally scalable and reliable AI-first data platform.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of product managers and technical product managers responsible for driving the resilience, reliability, and geographical availability of the Dataverse platform.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, internal stakeholders, partners, and engineering teams to develop a vision and execution plans for improving the platform.
  • Drive the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements tailored to customer needs.
  • Create, monitor, and analyze key product metrics, user feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize product performance.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and sales enablement materials for enterprise customers.
  • Stay up to date with industry advancements, competition, and emerging technologies in cloud infrastructure and SaaS.
  • Drive improvements in Azure's ability to support high scale, globally available SaaS applications like Dataverse, the Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 by driving prioritization of new capabilities across a range of Azure services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
  • 4+ years people management experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product management or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud and enterprise services or applications.
  • 5+ years of experience in shipping globally scaled products with technical knowledge of complex distributed systems, SaaS architectures, developer experience, and data governance.
  • 5+ years of experience in a role requiring collaboration with cross-functional (engineering, product management, business) teams, and analytical thinking.
