Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Financial Planning Analyst to become a vital member of our Financial Planning and Analysis team, dedicated to ensuring the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
The Financial Planning Analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver essential financial reporting and analytics that support our operational leaders and financial directors.

  • Utilize your analytical skills to perform financial forecasting and report on critical metrics that aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Leverage extensive data sets for comprehensive data analysis, research, and modeling aimed at enhancing overall performance and satisfaction.
  • Assist in the formulation of the annual budget and present the inpatient budget effectively.
  • Work closely with financial directors and business development teams to create pro forma analyses for new initiatives and relocations.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of consolidated financial statements.
  • Perform market evaluations and contract rate assessments, including the implications of regulatory changes on our operations.
  • Execute complex ad hoc projects to meet the diverse needs of our financial directors and operational leaders.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in business or financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with ORACLE G/L, ADI, and HMS is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to research, analyze, and report financial data accurately.
  • The capability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Independence in work coupled with a collaborative spirit.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
