Job Description

**Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Insights**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Creative Financial Staffing. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and strategic planning to support business growth and stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing tracking, analysis, and revisions as required for supported areas of operating and maintenance costs, working closely with business area leaders to provide projections of the impact of deviations on the financial outlook for the remainder of the year.
  • Prepare internal and external reports, and identify and resolve moderate to complex data issues, analyzing financial data to identify adverse trends and recommend solutions to mitigate financial impact.
  • Effectively communicate results through concise oral and written communications, providing financial analysis and support to management for the annual budget and monthly forecast processes.
  • Document key processes of supported areas to ensure consistency and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, providing proactive process improvement recommendations and assisting in implementing accepted solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of rate case information and analysis as required to support submission, and assist in performing regulatory support for requests or associated schedules.
  • Work cross-functionally, interact with third parties, C-suite, stakeholders, and joint partnerships, managing information systems, including SAP.
  • Ability to be dynamic, work with all levels, operations team, field team, and executives.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business degree, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in general financial accounting or analysis.
  • OR Master's degree or certification such as CPA, CMA, CFA, etc., or investment banking or public accounting background may be granted years of experience to reach the 4-year minimum.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, V lookups, Macros, and Pivot tables.
  • SAP experience is a huge plus.
  • Experience working with revenue at or above $50 million.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Demonstrated skills in analysis, problem-solving, customer service, and relationship building are desired.
