We are seeking a motivated, skilled, and enthusiastic Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team, assisting us in reaching our ambitious business and environmental goals.

In this role, you will act as a business partner to various departments, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and monthly financial performance reporting against budget/forecast.

You will closely collaborate with other FP&A team members and Accounting to ensure an accurate and timely financial close.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational expense forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial review processes for various departments.
  • Enhance your proficiency in NetSuite and Planful financial systems.
  • Conduct analysis and reporting on headcount and operational expense line items.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and business partners.
  • Manage, track, and report all headcount-related activities.
  • Implement process enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to deliver actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Review preliminary month-end results and suggest journal entries to ensure the accuracy of financial outcomes.
  • Maintain reporting templates on a monthly basis.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in FP&A.
  • Working knowledge of fundamental Accounting principles (understanding P&Ls, accruals, reclasses, etc.) and GAAP.
  • Understanding of the three financial statements and their interrelations.
  • Strong foundational Excel skills with a desire to expand your knowledge.
  • A willingness to understand the business beyond just number crunching.
  • An analytical mindset focused on identifying win-win solutions that balance opportunities and risks while creating related forecasts.
  • A critical and curious approach to tasks and processes, always asking, "How can I improve this?"
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Netsuite and Planful (or other FP&A tools) is a significant advantage.

Salary Range:
$52,000 to $65,000
