We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Key Responsibilities:- Execute and assist in shaping digital campaigns to strategically engage our diverse constituency
- Manage and grow our social media accounts
- Schedule all content (social, email, articles) within HubSpot
- Generate original content for our organization's newsletters and the Marketplace
- Provide input into challenge promotion communications and process with global challenges team leads and the digital marketing manager
- Liaise with the director of marketing and communications on brand usage and trademark oversight
- Work with the events team on speaker research, outreach, and communications
- Write comprehensive communications and marketing materials for events to drive registration, attain new audiences, and raise awareness
- Track, analyze, and report on data across marketing and communications and recommend improvements on content
- Ensure our website is updated
- Lead and/or participate in ad-hoc projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Two years' related experience
- Flexible approach to responsibilities and ability to plan work to meet deadlines across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Initiative and ability to work independently
- Interest in social impact and innovation
- Strong writing skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality
- Project management training/experience
We offer a competitive salary, with a minimum of $60,000, and a comprehensive benefits package. Our team members are expected to spend four weeks a year in our Cambridge offices, plus a week during the first month for onboarding.
