Senior Marketing Analyst

As a Senior Analyst on Forrester's B2C marketing research team, you will play a critical role in helping business and technology leaders make strategic organizational and technology decisions to drive growth with customer-centric marketing. You will be responsible for conducting research and analysis, writing and delivering various content types, including speaking engagements that balance visionary points of view with practical advice and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute research and content plans to address clients' top marketing priorities and market opportunities.
- Conduct primary research and analyze data to inform marketing measurement strategies and prove marketing's value to the business.
- Write and produce content in various formats, including reports, blog posts, data digests, infographics, and video.
- Apply Forrester's research and frameworks to help clients solve business challenges through short- and long-term client engagements.
- Establish an industry presence as an influential speaker and thinker, speaking with the press, presenting at Forrester and external industry events, and delivering client presentations and webinars.
- Educate, align, and demonstrate how to develop marketing measurement strategies and prove marketing's value to the business.
- Evolve and productize marketplace coverage, and work with Forrester sales and analyst relations to evangelize it with clients and prospects.
- At least 10 years' marketing analytics and measurement experience as a practitioner at an agency, brand (in-house), or consulting firm.
- Advanced degree in analytics, statistics, or a data-driven, marketing-specific discipline is preferred.
- Proficiency in marketing measurement and analytics methodologies, including familiarity with advanced approaches.
- Knowledge of organizational frameworks required to effectively leverage data-driven insights.
- Deep understanding of the broader marketing and advertising landscape and of the technology and service providers that deliver marketing analytics solutions.
- An inclination toward emerging technologies and methods, such as machine learning, and how they may enhance marketing analytics.
- Superior analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
- The ability to be bold and conceptual yet practical and actionable.
- Sense of collaboration within a supportive, integrated team.
- The ability to travel 30% to 50% of the time.
