Marketing Manager Job Description

EF Education First is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to support the Director of Marketing with a diverse range of marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement and brand growth. This role will be responsible for managing the development and execution of integrated communications, campaigns, and experiences that ensure seamless delivery and measurable success in achieving our brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing vision for EF Education First, turning strategies into executable plans that allow the team to move confidently towards our Year 1 growth goals.
  • Leverage insights, creativity, and innovation to develop strategic initiatives that strengthen our brand's presence, differentiate us in the market, and drive sustainable growth.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across channels (email, social, paid, owned) inclusive of brief development, collaboration with channel owners and creative teams, development of measurement plans, and overall campaign and project management.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Work regularly with our sales, service, analytics, and market development teams to understand the nuances of the adventure travel market.
  • Uncover market, brand, audience, competitive, and cultural insights that fuel the business and help define our go-to-market strategies.
  • Oversee website optimizations and maintenance, including implementation of content updates.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of branding and marketing initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Create a culture of accountability by helping to design marketing KPIs that support the team's OKRs.

Requirements:

  • 4-6+ years of brand or marketing management experience within the B2C space.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles, marketing strategies, and consumer behavior.
  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure all campaigns are executed to the highest standard.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing website content updates in Storyblok or similar CMS platforms.
  • Strong background in collaborating with creative teams and a solid understanding of the creative process.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve campaign performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of travel industry trends and consumer behavior in the adventure space.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
  • An enthusiastic attitude and willingness to jump in and 'get your hands dirty.'
