Position Overview:
The Maintenance Sales Representative is tasked with generating new business by identifying quality clients and promoting annual and multi-year maintenance contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
To excel in this role, the individual must effectively manage the following duties:

  • Master the complete maintenance sales process to achieve productivity and independence.
  • Exhibit sales expertise, financial acumen, and operational knowledge to foster new business growth.
  • Qualify potential clients, schedule effective meetings, follow up on leads and referrals, and address inquiries and objections competently.
  • Identify client needs to encourage purchasing decisions and generate interest.
  • Understand the client's decision-making process, address concerns, and guide them towards a timely decision.
  • Conduct thorough research on prospective organizations to tailor solutions to their specific needs.
  • Engage in cold calling and develop strategies to effectively reach decision-makers.
  • Manage quotations to finalize sales and maintain an active list of pending quotes.
  • Comprehend market strategies and external market influences.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively in both verbal and written forms.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of Business-to-Business Outside Sales experience in selling service contracts or agreements.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Compensation:
The base salary range is $62,000 to $70,000 per year, based on proven experience and proficiency. The complete compensation package includes a base salary, monthly vehicle allowance, and commission. First-year On Target Earnings (OTE) are projected at $85,000-95,000, with Year 2 OTE exceeding $100,000.

The salary for the selected candidate will be determined based on various factors, including internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
