Position Overview:
The Outside Sales Representative is tasked with generating new business by identifying and engaging quality customers, as well as selling annual and multi-year maintenance agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
To excel in this role, the individual must effectively manage the following responsibilities:
- Master the entire maintenance sales process to ensure productivity and independence.
- Exhibit strong sales skills along with financial and operational knowledge to drive new business opportunities.
- Qualify potential clients, schedule effective appointments, and proficiently handle inquiries and objections.
- Identify customer needs to influence purchasing decisions and generate interest.
- Understand the client's decision-making process, address concerns, and guide them towards timely decisions.
- Conduct thorough research on prospective organizations to align solutions with their needs.
- Engage in cold calling and effectively reach decision-makers.
- Manage quotes to finalize sales and maintain an active pipeline of proposals.
- Comprehend market strategies and dynamics.
- Communicate professionally and effectively in both verbal and written formats.
Qualifications:
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 2 years of Business-to-Business Outside Sales experience, specifically in selling service contracts or agreements.
- A valid driver's license is required.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is between $62,000 and $70,000 per year, depending on proven experience and proficiency. The full compensation package includes a base salary, monthly vehicle allowance, and commission opportunities. First-year On Target Earnings (OTE) are projected between $85,000 and $95,000, with Year 2 OTE exceeding $100,000.
The final salary for the selected candidate will be determined based on various factors, including internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
