The Route Sales Representative is a key position at Frito-Lay, responsible for delivering, selling, and merchandising our extensive product line to local stores. As a member of our team, you will drive a Frito-Lay truck to different stores, work independently to unload orders, merchandise product, partner with store managers to increase sales, order, and maintain records throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and Merchandise Products: Safely transport and deliver Frito-Lay products to local stores, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Sell and Promote Products: Work with store managers to increase sales by promoting our products, building relationships, and completing national initiatives.
- Manage Orders and Records: Accurately process and manage orders, maintain records, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Hands-on Training: Receive comprehensive training on the role, including four to six weeks of dedicated driving and selling training with our experienced team members.
- Route Experience: Run routes for team members, gain experience in different stores, and meet new customers.
- Personal and Professional Growth: Develop skills in sales, customer service, and time management, leading to personal and professional growth.
- Age and Driver's License: Be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
- Physical Demands: Be able to frequently lift 40 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- DOT Physical and Certification: Pass a Department of Transportation physical and certification.
