As we expand, we are increasingly focused on bringing the Sploot experience to life beyond our clinics - whether at local parks, community events, or through collaborations with nearby businesses, we are eager to share the Sploot story through these hands-on, people-oriented initiatives.


The Position

This is a part-time contractual role with flexible hours (5-30 hours per week).

As a Sploot Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in our vibrant and enthusiastic marketing team.

Your main duty will be to represent the Sploot brand at various community events in the area, such as farmers' markets, brewery pop-ups, charity runs, galas, residential complexes, and more.

You will have the chance to connect with pet owners (and their beloved pets), participate in enjoyable activities, capture memorable moments through photography, and distribute Sploot promotional items.


  • Attend and represent Sploot at a variety of events, ensuring a positive and memorable brand experience.
  • Engage with pet owners in a friendly and approachable manner, educating them about Sploot's offerings and values.
  • Organize and participate in interactive games and activities to create a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for event attendees.
  • Capture candid and posed photos of pet owners and their furry companions, promoting user-generated content.
  • Distribute Sploot promotional materials to event attendees.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the marketing team based on customer interactions and event experiences.
You Are:

  • Passionate about pets and enthusiastic about promoting a pet-centric brand.
  • Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outgoing and approachable, willing to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Basic photography skills are a plus.

Compensation

Starting at $20 - $23 per hour, based on experience and responsibilities.
