Assistant Regional Lodging Manager

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Marines, their families, and the broader Marine Corps Community. We are seeking a qualified individual to fulfill the role of Assistant Regional Lodging Manager.
This position entails collaboration within a diverse team of military personnel, civilian staff, contractors, and volunteers, all committed to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Regional Lodging Manager will support the oversight of all Permanent Change of Station (PCS) and Temporary Duty (TDY) lodging operations within a designated area. This role involves close cooperation with the Regional Lodging Manager, providing essential leadership and operational direction to Lodging General Managers and Area General Managers.
Key duties include:
- Assisting in compliance with brand operating standards.
- Supporting the development and management of budgets and training programs.
- Monitoring performance metrics and offering recommendations for improvements.
- Conducting training sessions on lodging operations and standards.
- Maintaining industry relationships and conducting property evaluations.
The role also involves planning marketing strategies for promotional initiatives and ensuring effective communication across the organization.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field, along with three years of relevant experience in the hotel industry. Alternatively, a combination of education and experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge and skills will be considered.
Essential skills include:
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in evaluating policies and operational programs.
- Business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
This position may require travel and the ability to work flexible hours.
