About the Role

DPR Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Regional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager. This role will play a critical part in planning, coordinating, and promoting DPR's DEI strategy and commitments across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute DEI Plans: Create and implement comprehensive diversity plans at the regional level for each business unit, reflecting DPR's commitment to best-in-class people practices that promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with Regional and Business Unit Leaders: Work closely with regional and business unit leaders to evaluate current business strategies and operational objectives, make recommendations, and serve as a key advisor on diversity, equity, and inclusion matters.
  • Partner with Global Social Responsibility Leadership: Assist in designing, implementing, and executing an overarching GSR strategy for the company, crafting relevant goals, policies, and programs.
  • Establish Metrics and Measure Success: Develop metrics and collaborate with key leaders to measure the success of DEI initiatives.
  • Build Relationships with Industry Professionals: Work collaboratively with other DEI professionals in the industry to build positive working relationships that can inform internal and external business practices.
  • Support Employee Resource Groups: Assist in scaling DPR Employee Resource Groups.
  • Facilitate DEI Discussions: Facilitate discussions on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and participate in business unit/region team and peer group meetings.
  • Assist with Talent Acquisition: Support talent acquisition with regional diversity recruiting events and activities, including campus/college recruiting and key professional associations.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Learning & Development: Align DEI principles with the employee experience and life cycle, working with Human Resources, Learning & Development, and People Practices.
  • Fulfill Position KPIs: Meet position key performance indicators.
Qualifications
  • 5+ Years of Related Experience: Possess 5+ years of experience in a similar role with demonstrated success.
  • Experience with Employee Resource Groups: Have experience managing and supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
  • Diverse Talent Acquisition and Management: Have experience in diverse talent acquisition and talent management practices.
  • Cultivating a Culture of Diversity and Inclusion: Have experience cultivating a culture of diversity and inclusion through training, education, consultation, coaching, and collaboration.
  • Effective Team Participation: Possess effective participation in a team environment, with the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Initiative-Taking and Time Management: Be an initiative-taker with excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Possess exceptional communication skills, including public speaking, facilitation, and web-based/virtual skills.
  • Cultural Competence: Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to understand, communicate with, and effectively interact with people across diverse cultures.
  • Stakeholder Management: Be able to manage multiple stakeholders, navigate complexities, find common ground, and build consensus.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Possess proactive and responsive critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Computer Skills and Adaptability: Be proficient in computer skills and adaptable to technology.
  • Travel Requirements: Be able to travel domestically, with 40-60% of time spent on the road.
