Job Overview

CTR Group is currently in search of a Regional Operations Manager specializing in Ship Repair for a prominent Shipyard.

Compensation: $70K - $80K along with Comprehensive Benefits

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Operations Manager acts as the Company's representative, ensuring the effective implementation of ship repair projects. This role involves overseeing the operational elements of active projects and facilitating communication between project management, planning teams, and line management. The manager will review project statuses and budgets, manage timelines, and prepare detailed status reports. Additionally, the manager will identify project challenges and devise solutions to achieve productivity, quality, and client satisfaction objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Comprehensive understanding of US Navy/MSC/Commercial Ships and their systems is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of ship repair processes and operations, with a clear grasp of various types and phases of work.
  • Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and work specifications.
  • Thorough understanding of operational procedures and practices.
  • Ability to inspire and provide goal-oriented guidance to team members, adhering to management policies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fully comprehends the scope of work and proactively seeks clarification when necessary.
  • Proficient in relevant SQMS Departmental Work Instructions and Procedures.
  • General familiarity with a range of hand and power tools to ensure adherence to safety protocols and optimal task performance.
  • Skilled in using PCs, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and email applications.
  • US Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Capability to obtain a DBIDS credential is required.
