Total Vision MD LLC is seeking a dedicated and strategic Regional Operations Manager to oversee our expanding network of optometry practices. This role is pivotal in fostering partnerships and enhancing operational efficiencies across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume full Profit and Loss (P&L) accountability for designated optometry sites.
- Collaborate with Practice Managers and Lead Doctors to ensure exceptional patient experiences and superior vision outcomes.
- Drive performance by focusing on essential company initiatives, including increasing patient visits and enhancing the overall patient journey.
- Conduct regular on-site meetings and comprehensive Business Reviews with practice teams.
- Ensure adherence to new protocols for inventory management and frame purchasing.
- Work alongside Human Resources to attract and develop high-performing teams.
- Partner with Finance to maintain efficient accounts payable processes and accurate inventory counts.
- Facilitate the centralization of IT and Revenue Cycle Management functions.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to optimize center-level expenditures.
- Lead change management initiatives to support practice leaders and team members.
- Coach Practice Managers on effective communication strategies with their teams.
- Support talent development and succession planning within practices.
- Assist in the transition to new Practice Management Systems by coordinating with Systems Managers and Trainers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with four to eight years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience managing operations across multiple sites, preferably in healthcare or patient care services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Expertise in change management and emotional intelligence.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex employee relations issues.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and workplace compliance regulations.
- Direct patient care experience is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position require the ability to sit for extended periods, view a computer screen for long durations, and lift up to 20 lbs. Hand dexterity and coordination are essential. The role may require after-hours work and travel as necessary.
