Role Summary:
The Clinic Supervisor is instrumental in managing the operational and financial dimensions of the Wesley Health Center. This role entails leading clinic personnel, ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care, and partnering with the Clinic Administrator to oversee support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to advance JWCH's strategic objectives.
  • Articulate organizational goals to clinic staff members.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and standards.
  • Maintain required licenses, certifications, and agreements.
  • Assist in establishing departmental objectives, budgets, and policies.
  • Encourage a collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Oversee staff to guarantee effective performance and uphold high standards of care.
  • Coordinate provider schedules and manage patient appointments.
  • Monitor clinic growth and suggest expansion initiatives as necessary.
  • Implement quality enhancement activities and supervise patient care.
  • Work with the billing department for prompt submission of encounters.
  • Engage with the community to improve health center visibility.
  • Participate in organizational committees and meetings.
  • Regularly report operational challenges and progress to leadership.
  • Assess patient satisfaction and ensure compliance with customer service standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a minimum of three years of experience in healthcare management.
  • Understanding of healthcare funding sources.
  • Experience with diverse populations and staff supervision.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Prior experience in a Community Health Care Center is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with healthcare regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
