Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging leader with a strong background in service and sales to take on the role of Retail Operations Leader. You will be instrumental in driving Casper's growth in your designated area. Your focus will be on cultivating a customer-centric atmosphere and a consultative sales approach. You are passionate about team development and understand that leading by example, providing active coaching, and investing in your team's growth are essential for success. You possess a practical understanding of the customer journey and excel in making data-informed decisions.
Business Objectives
  • Accountable for achieving and surpassing sales targets while enhancing Casper's market presence.
  • Manage Store Profit and Loss to meet financial goals by overseeing payroll, operational, visual, and marketing expenditures.
  • Supervise inventory management to minimize costs and boost store efficiency.
  • Develop strategic business initiatives and annual plans, identifying marketing opportunities and setting sales targets.
Customer Engagement
  • Craft an engaging customer experience that builds lasting relationships aligned with our brand values.
  • Promote the Casper mission of improving sleep and raise customer awareness.
  • Enhance the omni-channel customer experience.
  • Act as the customer advocate, relaying insights and opportunities for improvement back to the organization.
Team Development
  • Attract, retain, and nurture a talented team through ongoing networking and recruitment efforts.
  • Guide, mentor, and develop a high-performing, service-oriented team.
  • Create an inspiring environment that encourages engagement and personal growth.
  • Ensure effective training and development programs are in place and monitored for success.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for team members while overseeing the process for the entire store.
  • Maintain a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and achievement of goals.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and oversee facility maintenance.
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships across the organization.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in retail, sales, customer service, or hospitality.
  • Proven leadership skills with a history of attracting, developing, and motivating top talent in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in financial management, driving sales growth, and managing budgets effectively.
  • Deep understanding of service excellence in a consumer-focused environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus.
  • A desire to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting, valuing experimentation and adaptation.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce is preferred.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to relocate for career advancement opportunities.
  • Expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including weekends, based on business needs.
