The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the success of our retail locations by motivating customers throughout their culinary adventures.

This position assists a General Manager (GM) or Store Manager (SM) in achieving sales objectives, overseeing store operations, and managing the performance and staffing of all retail personnel.

The Retail Operations Supervisor reports directly to either a General Manager (GM) or Store Manager (SM).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Upholds and enforces customer service standards among team members.

Fosters an informed and capable workforce by supporting and/or delivering training sessions for all staff.


Ensures that all CSC Generation policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are effectively communicated, maintained, and adhered to by employees.


Assists the GM or SM in proactively staffing the store in accordance with retail trends and seasonal demands.

Collaborates with a high-performing team to meet the store's sales targets. Drives sales initiatives, formulates daily plans, and directs selling activities as the Manager on Duty.

Provides real-time coaching and constructive feedback to team members. May assist the GM or SM in conducting formal performance evaluations.

Identifies opportunities to boost retail sales and guides employees in executing sales initiatives.

Proactively addresses and resolves issues by taking decisive actions and following up with the GM or SM.


Ensures the accuracy and integrity of employee records, including Time and Attendance data and personal information.

Manages deliveries in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Oversees inventory events and controls shrinkage and retail supply costs.

Stays updated by maintaining product knowledge, utilizing available training resources, and seeking additional information as needed.

Ensures compliance with applicable wage and hour regulations. Accurately records hours worked in line with company policy.

Collaborates effectively with the GM or SM, HQ Retail Operations, Human Resources, and other departments as necessary.

Exhibits exceptional verbal and written communication skills with employees, customers, field management, and corporate teams.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the GM or SM.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members and customers.

Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.


Ability to navigate the workplace, coaching and guiding employees, assisting customers, and retrieving merchandise.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to demonstrate and replenish merchandise.


Ability to work a flexible schedule to observe employees and customers at various times.

Ability to use ladders to access merchandise.

Proficient in operating computers, POS systems, and other necessary technology to perform job functions.

Consistent and reliable attendance.

Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 35 lbs.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1-2 years of progressively responsible experience in retail management. Previous experience in a leadership role preferred.

Proven track record of driving sales and motivating high-performing teams.

Experience in training staff and holding teams accountable for performance.

Proficient in POS systems and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

May require Food Handlers Permit or Food Manager Certification.
