Position Summary:

The Retail Sales Team Leader at Vuori plays a pivotal role in guiding the retail sales team by setting a positive example, building rapport with customers, and embodying Vuori's brand ethos through comprehensive product knowledge and an upbeat demeanor. This position is essential to the store's leadership team, overseeing the retail floor, delegating tasks, and serving as a reliable resource. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Team Leader assists with various leadership responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Create Memorable Customer Experiences:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure each customer enjoys an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Take charge of the sales floor and motivate the team to prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare fitting rooms, assist customers in finding sizes, and provide honest, knowledgeable feedback on product styles and fits.
  • Establish lasting connections with customers by discussing product details, new arrivals, and upcoming events.
  • Stay informed about trending products and share insights with both customers and team members.

Drive Business Success:

  • Lead daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
  • Inspire the sales team to meet sales targets in a collaborative commission-based environment.
  • Seek knowledge about new products in the fashion and activewear sectors to serve as a resource for customers.
  • Guide the team in completing projects while maintaining a focus on customer experience.
  • Communicate inventory requirements to support business objectives.

Leadership and Accountability:

  • Work alongside the Retail Store Manager on daily operations, sales strategies, community engagement, and team management to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Oversee daily store maintenance, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleanliness.
  • Exercise utmost responsibility and attention to safety protocols during store opening and closing procedures.
  • Encourage team members to consistently give their best, adhere to schedules, and fulfill their roles effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Availability for morning and/or evening shifts, working 8-hour days, 5 days a week, including at least one weekend day.
  • Demonstrated punctuality and attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Expertise in customer service, creating engaging experiences, and proactively addressing customer concerns.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick adaptability to new procedures and processes.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High levels of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and respond positively to feedback.
